Anykščiai is a historic town located in northeastern Lithuania, known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. The town is situated in the Anykščiai District Municipality and lies approximately 110 kilometers (68 miles) north of the capital city, Vilnius. Anykščiai has a population of around 10,000 people.
