Cadzand-Bad History
Cadzand-Bad is a small coastal town located in the Netherlands, near the Belgian border. The history of Cadzand-Bad dates back to the Roman era, when it was a settlement known as Cadsandrium. Over time, the town developed into a thriving fishing village, with a bustling harbor and a thriving maritime trade.
During the 17th century, Cadzand-Bad became an important center for the Dutch maritime trade, and it played a significant role in the Dutch East India Company's trade routes. The town also played a role in the Dutch Revolt against Spanish rule, and it was occupied by Spanish troops for several years during the conflict.
