History
Dolní Morava is a village in the Ústí nad Orlicí District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. While the village itself may not have an extensive history, the region of Moravia, of which Dolní Morava is a part, has a rich historical background.
Moravia is one of the historical regions of the Czech Republic, along with Bohemia and Czech Silesia. It has been inhabited since prehistoric times and has played a significant role in the development of the Czech state. During the medieval period, Moravia was part of the Great Moravian Empire, which existed from the 9th to the early 10th century. The region later became part of the Bohemian Crown, and during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, it was part of the Austrian half.
