The Historical Origins

In the heart of Madison, Connecticut, the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library stands as a testament to both architectural beauty and community dedication. Edward Carrington Scranton, a prominent Madison philanthropist, was instrumental in its creation. The E.C. Scranton Memorial Library opened its doors to the public in 1901.
