Lajes do Pico is a municipality and parish located on the island of Pico in the Azores archipelago of Portugal. The history of Lajes do Pico dates back to the 16th century, when the island was first settled by Portuguese explorers.

During the early years of settlement, the inhabitants of Lajes do Pico relied mainly on agriculture and fishing for their livelihoods.
