Designation as a Certified Audubon Sanctuary has recently been added to MCC's long list of accomplishments. The views of the golf course from every dining area, including our banquet and special meeting rooms, provide an experience not found anywhere in Sioux Falls or the surrounding region. Golf, Tennis, Banquets, Catering, Pool, Member Dining are just a few of the services offered to members only at Minnehaha Country Club.

In the summer of 1905, a small group of Sioux Falls’ businessmen left their downtown offices to play a round of golf. Their destination: a primitive nine-hole course on the then-eastern edge of this bustling prairie city. More than golf happened that day. The four friends decided to create a private member-owned golf club-with a small shack serving as clubhouse. They named it Minnehaha Country Club.
