Oceanside is a small coastal town located in Tillamook County, Oregon. The history of Oceanside dates back to the late 1800s, when settlers began to establish permanent homes and businesses in the area.

The first recorded land claim in the Oceanside area was made in 1856 by a man named Josiah "Uncle Joe" Myers. However, it wasn't until the 1880s that Oceanside began to develop as a community. In 1883, the first post office was established in the town, and by the 1890s, Oceanside had become a popular destination for tourists.
