Duluth Live Cam

Duluth is a city located in northeastern Minnesota, United States, at the western tip of Lake Superior. The area has a long history dating back thousands of years, when it was inhabited by indigenous peoples, including the Dakota, Ojibwe, and Cree.

The first European to explore the area was French explorer Daniel Greysolon, Sieur du Lhut, in 1679. The city of Duluth was founded in 1856 by a group of businessmen who wanted to create a new port city on Lake Superior.

In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Duluth became a major center of shipping and trade, with ships carrying iron ore, timber, grain, and other goods between Duluth and other Great Lakes ports. The city's economy also grew with the expansion of the railroad, which brought more goods and people to the area.
