Dublin 2 History

Dublin 2 is a postal district in the city of Dublin, Ireland. It covers the southern part of Dublin's city center and includes some of its most famous landmarks and neighborhoods.

The history of Dublin 2 can be traced back to the medieval period when the city was founded by the Vikings. During this time, the area that is now Dublin 2 was known as "the Oxmantown" and was a hub of trade and commerce.
