History

Vasiliki is an archaeological site located in the eastern part of the island of Crete in Greece. The site is particularly famous for its Minoan settlement that flourished during the Bronze Age (2600-1100 BCE). The excavations at Vasiliki started in the 1970s, and they have revealed a wealth of information about the ancient civilization that lived there.
