The Tadpoles Club is staffed by friendly professional nannies who are experienced with babies. A delightful range of stimulating toys are combined with affection and cuddles to keep little ones playing happily whilst parents relax. Cots and prams are provided for babies needing a nap. The Minnows Club offers a host of activities in our newly equipped, bright and spacious nursery. Energetic and inquisitive toddlers are encouraged to become builders, chefs, engine drivers, artists and much more as they choose from a multitude of toys and activities. Busy play sessions end with story time to bring a little tranquillity to children worn out by a morning's "work".

Bedruthan's chefs have a real passion for food, menus focus on superb West country produce, fresh local fish, crabs and lobster and shellfish and delectable homemade desserts and cakes. Fine local cheeses, warm breakfast rolls and croissants & pastries, imaginative choices for children & vegetarians, enjoy exploring our surprisingly good wine list and dinner is a time for parents to relax and watch the sunset together.

Our Children's progrmme is based around our four children's clubs. The Tadpoles is for 0-11 months, the Minnows for 1 - 2 year olds, the Dolphins for 3-6 year olds and the Sharks for 7-12 year olds. We aim to maintain a very happy atmosphere in our clubs. The clubs may not be suitable for all. We ask parents to think carefully before booking club places if children are not familiar with a play centre environment. Young children who are unused to being separated from their parents may be happier with individual nanny care at the hotel. The Tadpoles and Minnows Clubs must be pre-booked before the start of your holiday. Guests are sent a pre-booking form when a holiday reservation is made. The Dolphins and Sharks Clubs can be booked on arrival at the hotel. Baby equipment can also be pre-booked.

All club pre-bookings for weekly holiday consist of 5 sessions: Guests on short break holidays or those wishing to book less than 5 sessions, please advise us accordingly. Extra spaces may be booked on arrival on a first come, first served basis. If guests wish to leave the hotel premises, a qualified nanny must be booked, subject to availability. Parents can use all the hotel facilities whilst their children are in the clubs but must remain within the hotel grounds. Children's activities and club session times vary during the season according to the numbers and ages of the children staying. Outside of the school holidays, (private and state) there will be no entertainment programme for Sharks 7 - 12 years. Please check dates at time of booking.
