Cabo San Lucas History Cabo San Lucas is a resort city located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. The area was originally inhabited by Pericu Indians who lived off fishing and hunting. In the late 16th century, Spanish explorers arrived in the area and established trade with the indigenous people.
