Light tackle boats may accommodate one or two fishermen at lower rates. Party boat tarriffs average $30 per person for a full-day trip, including tackle.

For visiting anglers who trail their own small fishing craft, a public ramp at Garrison Bight may be used for a $5 fee. There is a $6 parking fee for cars and boat trailers. Numerous tackle and bait shops are available throughout the island city for do-it-yourself anglers. Most sought-after species for the deep-sea angler are blue and white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dolphin, blackfin tuna, kingfish, barracuda and monster shark. Reef or wreck fishermen, either on small boats or party boats, may find a real fight in fishing for sporty amberjack, large grouper and oversize snapper, as well as other reef species generally taken while bottom fishing.

The smaller, light tackle craft specialize in shallow water action and "backcountry" angling for such prizes as bonefish, tarpon and permit, all generally caught on lighter tackle than big-game or reef sportfish require. And, for the younger fishermen and anglers on very limited budgets, outboard-motor-powered skiffs and even bridge angling provide the thrills of saltwater fishing at minimal cost, when visiting Key West.

Glass Bottom Boat Tour - Upon boarding the glass bottom boat Discovery, passengers have their choice of seats. The upper deck provides seating both in the sun and in the shade. On the lower deck there is seating outside at the stern or in the air conditioned main salon. After a safety briefing, the narrator will conduct a water side tour of the Old Town Key West Harbor. This unique tour of the harbor present numerous photo opportunities for the passengers as we pass by places of interest.

Once the Discovery is over the living coral reef, the passengers are invited below to our viewing room that is unique in all of the world. There are 20 windows set in the sides of the hull of the Discovery at a 45 degree angle to the ocean bottom. This enables our guests to enjoy a panoramic view out and over the reef as well as directly down at the reef.
