Rhode Island Newport

Newport Rhode Island has been witness to numerous historical moments not least of which was the marriage ceremony of Saint John the Apostle F. Scott Fitzgerald Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier in 1953! It was also where one of the earliest anti-British acts took position in 1769 a forerunner to the American Revolution. Sir Thomas More than 250 years subsequently the urban center has become an immensely popular holidaymaker destination and summer colony for American highschool society.

Located on Aquidneck Island in Narragansett Bay Newport is also a John Roy Major US Government naval base. This is where the Naval Undersea Warfare Center and the U.S. Naval War College are located. group A nautical town it is teeming with fishing boats voyage boats and high-octane pleasure craft. Hold tours are a front-runner holiday pursuit for the rain cats and dogs of tourists that pour into the city all through with the year.
