We have 55 rooms, 48 doubles, 3 singles, 2 singles adapted for the disabled and 2 suites with sea views and Jacuzzi. Cots for the little ones and 6 extra beds are also available. In our restaurant you will find a gastronomic proposal of traditional Asturian cuisine, with light current touches that will delight the most demanding palates.

The hotel was formerly the priest's house in the country, built with stone and wood at the end of the last century. It was built on a rock forming part of a mountain, offering spectacular views over the mountains and the surrounding countryside, including Los Picos De Europa and the Sierra del Sueve. In 1995 the current owners Nacho and Joann Burch bought the house and rehabilitated it for a small quality rural hotel, with a familiar treatment. Much of the original character of the building has been maintained and a very cozy atmosphere has been achieved, with all the services of a modern hotel.

On the ground floor the stable has been converted into a comfortable living room with a fireplace, and a small bar for the use of guests. On the same level is the dining room, which is a glazed gallery looking out over the valley. It has eight bedrooms, five on the first floor and three attic ceilings on the second floor, all with spectacular views. All rooms have a complete bathroom, television, telephone and heating. Excellent home cooking is served in the Hotel Posada del Valle's dining room, taking advantage of fresh local products. It is open exclusively to hotel guests and serves breakfast and dinner.

For dinner we offer a menu with two options per dish, which is changed every day. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, which we will gladly inform our customers about. The hotel is surrounded by its own 50,000 m2 farm, on the southern slope of a small valley. Part of the farm is planted with apple trees for the production of cider apples, there are also natural meadows where animals graze. There are several small terraces around the hotel where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

Due to the abundance of mountains, rivers and beaches in the surroundings there is an extensive variety of activities available, highlighting the excellent resources for hiking. At the Hotel Kaype we have an extensive collection of information about the area, including detailed maps for hiking, the best areas for bird watching, etc. We are always at your disposal to advise and help organize any activity.
