Since 1895, Island Inn has offered a peaceful location to relax and vacation. Whether it's shelling along the wide expanse of white sand beach, bathing in the Gulf of Mexico or using the heated pool, this tranquil, secluded setting is reminiscent of old Florida charm. Island Inn offers accommodations in three lodges and several cottages, each with it's own particular charm and decor.
A large expanse of Gulf beach front awaits you and bathing in the Gulf waters or our heated pool are feature attractions. Shelling is a passion. Island Inn grounds are spacious with a butterfly garden surrounding a grassy croquet court, two shuffleboard courts by the Gulf's edge, private tennis courts in a setting of seagrape trees, palms & flowering shrubs. You can reach us by major national and international flights arriving daily at Southwest Florida Regional Airport (RSW) at Fort Myers, Florida. All major auto rental and local taxi service is available. By automobile, take Exit 21 off interstate 75 to Sanibel Island.
