Although we have been in existence for more than 100 years, for those of you that have not yet heard of us, allow me to introduce you to the New Rochelle Tennis Club. Established in 1896, we are one of the oldest tennis only clubs in the United States. Few tennis clubs can rival the depth of talent at NRTC. With about 225 members, no matter what your level, from tournament player to intermediate, there is a quality game for you at New Rochelle. Need a game? We arrange games every day, a feature not many clubs offer their players. New Rochelle Tennis Club is situated on 2 acres centrally located in Southern Westchester County just off North Avenue in the Wykagyl Park section of New Rochelle. It is easily accessible via the Hutchinson River Parkway or New England Thruway (I-95).

Over the years the New Rochelle Tennis Club has been host to a number of top tennis players, including Bill Tilden, Ivan Lendl, Wojtek Fibak, and Steve Denton. Legendary tennis referee Jack Starr, Olympic athlete/announcer Marty Glickman and television personality Stone Philips have all been members over its history. Our facilities include 8 meticulously maintained Har-Tru courts, locker rooms, snack bar, fully stocked pro shop, custom stringing service, with 24 hour turnaround. We participate in the MITL and WCTL leagues in both A & B levels. Club championships run throughout the summer and special events are held throughout the season. Our hours of operation are Mondays - Fridays 7:30 am to 8 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8am to 7pm. The clubhouse opens daily at 7am. Continuing in 2010 the successful Randy Eisenpress Tennis Academy, our tournament training program for talented juniors. It operates Mondays thru Thursdays from 12 noon til 4 p.m., and is under the direction of former ATP player, Larry Davidson. Our Head pro is Sergio Barbu, back again from his winter job at Sound Shore Indoor Tennis Club, and available by appointment for private and group instruction.

Metropolitan Interclub Tennis League Member (A & B Level) and Westchester County Tennis League Member (A & B Level).

New Rochelle Tennis Club provides a fully stocked pro shop, catering to all of your apparel and equipment needs. It is one of the most extensive club stores in the area. We have a huge inventory of rackets and demos from all of the major manufacturers available. Once you decide on a frame, our expert racket technician, Chris Tripodi, is on hand to ensure that your racket is strung to the correct specifications. We will also restring your rackets and have them back in your hands within 24 hours. We strive to provide the highest quality of service to all of our members and customers. Our in stock merchandise includes a large selection of clothing and shoes from Nike, Adidas, New Balance, K Swiss and Wilson. We have established relationships with all major brands, and will special order any items you are looking for at comparable - competitive prices.
