Newlyn has been a Trust Port since 1906, under the management of The Newlyn Pier & Harbour Commissioners. The new Harbour Revision Order in 2010 gave the Board of Commissioners the opportunity to widen their leadership role, whilst implementing a programme of improvements to harbour facilities in order to foster greater innovation, new skills and improved efficiency to the harbour operation
