Our heated swimming pool is just steps away from your room, always a refreshing stop for children and adults alike after a day at the beach. The High Noon Resort is also centrally located in the town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Within walking distance of the Inn are our supermarket, quaint shopping areas and world-class restaurants. Watch the waves caress the shore as you stroll throughout our charming seaside village and sample its delights.
The Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea -- The Prettiest Small Town in America -- is a charming seaside oasis on the eastern edge of metropolitan Broward County, FL. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway just north of Fort Lauderdale, the Town is home to warm tropical breezes, spectacular ocean views and quaint motels that attract annual visitors from worldwide.
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is primarily a residential community with 6,300 permanent residents, although the Town's peak seasonal population is 11,000. Our major industries include retail trade, tourism/hospitality, finance, insurance and real estate.
Several years later, Melvin I. Anglin, a successful building contractor and real estate investor from Indiana, bought the land platted by Morang with the intention of starting a new Town. Anglin later served as the Town's first Mayor.
The number of permanent residents residing in Town more than doubled in October 2001, when Lauderdale-By-The-Sea successfully annexed the Intracoastal Beach Area, a coastal neighborhood in unincorporated Broward just north of Town.
Located in the heart of beautiful Lauderdale By The Sea, just steps from the beach with the best scuba diving in the country and a short walk to some of Florida's finest restaurants, shopping and attractions.
The resort is a beach area hotel in Fort Lauderdale's exclusive Lauderdale by the Sea.
