Cayo Huesto meaning "Bone Island," is Spanish for Key West. Visiting the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, and taking the Writers' Walk you can see all the famous writers' residences. Exploring the Fort Zachary Taylor State Historic Site, built in 1866 offers tours of the site and the largest collection of Civil War cannons in America. A real treat to see is Key West's sunsets and entertainment at Mallory Square Dock in Old Town every one hour before sunset. IN order to reach this area or the Lower Keys to see Key West you have to travel along the Seven Mile Bridge, a segmented bridge that could be the world's longest.
